Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Welcome to DeepVoiceTest.com.

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when you use DeepVoiceTest.com, including our browser-based voice tools, calculators, educational articles, and related website features.

By using the site, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the site.

What DeepVoiceTest Provides

DeepVoiceTest.com provides educational information and browser-based tools related to topics such as:

  • voice depth
  • pitch and frequency
  • vocal range
  • voice type
  • tone and resonance
  • speaking characteristics
  • speaking rate
  • related voice-analysis concepts

The site is founded and edited by Lucas Reed, who also builds, develops, and tests the site’s tools.

Our tools are intended to make voice measurements easier to explore and understand. They are not intended to replace professional, clinical, medical, or laboratory assessment.

Tool Results and Accuracy

Results produced by DeepVoiceTest.com tools are estimates based on the input available at the time of testing.

For microphone-based tools, results may be influenced by factors including:

  • microphone quality
  • background noise
  • room acoustics
  • device audio processing
  • browser behavior
  • microphone placement
  • speaking volume
  • vocal effort
  • the particular words, notes, or sounds being analyzed
  • natural variation in the user’s voice

For this reason, we do not guarantee that every result will be perfectly accurate or identical between tests.

A result should be interpreted in context rather than treated as a complete or permanent description of your voice.

For more information, see How It Works.

Educational and Non-Medical Use

DeepVoiceTest.com is provided for educational and informational purposes.

The website and its tools are not intended to:

  • diagnose a medical condition
  • diagnose a voice disorder
  • measure hormone levels
  • replace medical testing
  • prescribe treatment
  • provide individualized medical advice

Lucas Reed is not presented as a physician, speech-language pathologist, audiologist, or other licensed healthcare professional.

If you experience persistent hoarseness, pain, breathing difficulty, a sudden unexplained change in your voice, or another concerning symptom, consider seeking advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Please also review our Disclaimer.

Voice Classification and Identity Limits

Voice-analysis results should not be used to make definitive conclusions about a person’s identity, biology, health, or abilities.

In particular, our tools cannot reliably determine:

  • gender identity
  • biological sex
  • hormone status
  • medical conditions
  • personality
  • complete singing voice classification
  • professional vocal suitability

A low or high speaking pitch does not, by itself, establish whether someone is a bass, baritone, tenor, alto, or another singing voice type.

Similarly, acoustic characteristics associated with some population averages do not determine an individual’s identity.

Acceptable Use

You may use DeepVoiceTest.com for lawful personal, educational, and informational purposes.

You must not knowingly use the site to:

  • interfere with normal website operation
  • attempt unauthorized access to servers, accounts, systems, or data
  • bypass or defeat security measures
  • introduce malicious code, malware, or harmful scripts
  • overload or deliberately disrupt the website
  • impersonate DeepVoiceTest.com or misrepresent an affiliation with the site
  • use automated systems in a way that materially disrupts the site
  • use tool outputs for unlawful discrimination
  • use voice-analysis results as the sole basis for consequential decisions about another person
  • use the site for an unlawful purpose

Search engines and legitimate automated systems may access publicly available pages subject to applicable technical controls and normal web standards.

Your Responsibility When Using the Tools

You are responsible for how you choose to use and interpret information from DeepVoiceTest.com.

This includes responsibility for:

  • deciding whether to grant microphone permission
  • using compatible browser and device settings
  • providing appropriate input
  • interpreting results reasonably
  • avoiding unsafe vocal practices
  • seeking professional advice when necessary

Do not force your voice to an uncomfortable pitch simply to obtain a particular result.

If speaking or singing causes pain or significant discomfort, stop rather than continuing solely to change a measurement.

Microphone Access

Some tools require microphone permission.

Your browser or operating system controls whether access is granted.

DeepVoiceTest.com does not require you to disable normal browser security protections in order to use microphone-based tools.

Our current voice-analysis workflow processes microphone audio locally in the browser rather than uploading it to our server for analysis.

For current information about microphone processing and data handling, see our Data Security and Privacy Policy.

  • graphics and design elements

  • original educational materials

These materials may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property laws.

This does not mean that DeepVoiceTest.com claims ownership over general facts, scientific principles, musical terminology, publicly available concepts, or third-party intellectual property.

Third-Party Services

DeepVoiceTest.com uses certain third-party infrastructure to operate the website.

Current examples include:

  • Hostinger for hosting
  • Google Analytics for general website analytics
  • email infrastructure for receiving contact messages

These services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

DeepVoiceTest.com does not currently use an external voice-analysis API to process microphone audio.

Website Availability

We aim to keep DeepVoiceTest.com available and functional, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • maintenance
  • hosting problems
  • software updates
  • browser changes
  • security issues
  • technical failures
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control

We may also update, replace, remove, or redesign tools and content when necessary.

No particular tool, page, feature, or result format is guaranteed to remain permanently available.

Changes to Tools and Content

Voice-analysis methods, browser technologies, research, and website functionality can change.

We may therefore:

  • revise calculations
  • improve tool interfaces
  • correct errors
  • update articles
  • revise explanations
  • remove outdated features
  • add new functionality

An older article or screenshot may not always describe the latest version of a tool.

Where a meaningful correction is needed, we aim to update the relevant page.

Our editorial approach is explained in our Editorial Guidelines.

Advertising and Monetization

DeepVoiceTest.com does not currently use Google AdSense or another advertising platform.

The site may use advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, or other monetization methods in the future.

If a new commercial relationship requires a disclosure, privacy update, or cookie-policy change, we aim to make the relevant updates as appropriate.

Commercial relationships should not give an advertiser the right to determine our factual editorial conclusions.

No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that:

  • every tool will work on every browser or device
  • every measurement will be error-free
  • repeated tests will produce identical results
  • a result will match professional equipment
  • an exercise or technique will produce a particular vocal outcome
  • information on the site will remain permanently current

The usefulness of a result depends partly on the quality of the input and the purpose for which it is being used.

No Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DeepVoiceTest.com is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make reasonable efforts to improve accuracy, usability, and reliability, but we do not provide an unlimited warranty that the site will always be:

  • uninterrupted
  • error-free
  • suitable for every purpose
  • free from all technical problems
  • completely current
  • compatible with every device

Nothing in this section removes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DeepVoiceTest.com and its operator will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from:

  • reliance on a browser-based estimate
  • misuse of a tool
  • temporary website unavailability
  • technical errors
  • loss of local preferences or browser data
  • actions taken based on third-party websites
  • use of the site in a way inconsistent with these Terms

You should not rely on DeepVoiceTest.com as the sole basis for medical, legal, employment, insurance, financial, or other high-impact decisions.

Nothing in these Terms attempts to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Privacy

Your use of DeepVoiceTest.com is also subject to our privacy and data-handling disclosures.

Please review:

These pages explain how microphone audio, analytics, local browser storage, contact information, and related technologies are currently handled.

Children and Legal Capacity

DeepVoiceTest.com is a general-audience website.

If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction, use the site only with appropriate involvement or permission from a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult where required.

We do not use a single universal age threshold because legal requirements can vary by location and type of activity.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms if:

  • site functionality changes
  • new services are introduced
  • legal requirements change
  • our business practices change
  • a provision needs clarification
  • an error is identified

When a substantive update is made, the Last updated date at the top of this page should be changed.
